Laxmi Electricals

Laxmi Electricals is a small shop located at No-3 in the Pooja Apartment building. We are right on Sinhagad Road, which is always packed with vehicles, especially near the Abhiruchi Road turnoff. We’ve been in this spot for a while, selling all sorts of electrical components and wires that people need for their houses. The shop is narrow, so we have to use every inch of wall space to hang our stock. If you look up, you’ll see bulbs and switches everywhere. It’s just two of us usually, sitting behind the counter and helping whoever walks in with a broken fuse or a need for a new fan. We don't have a website or do any social media stuff. Most people just see the sign when they are stuck in traffic and pull over. The noise from the main road is constant, but you get used to it after a week or so. We spend a lot of time untangling wires and checking returns. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We keep a ledger for the regular customers who pay at the end of the month. It’s a simple way of doing things that works for us and the people in the neighborhood. We just try to have the common parts in stock when someone’s light goes out. That is all we really do here.
