Universal International House Of Logistics has a pretty long name for such a small office, but that’s just how it is. We are located at Office No 11 in the Sukhwani Chember, which is on the Mumbai Pune Road in the Pimpri Ganesh Nagar Society area. If you know the Ramakaka Road, we aren't too far from that corner. Being on the main road means it’s always loud with the sound of trucks and cars zooming past toward Mumbai. Our office is a simple room where we coordinate where things are going. It’s a lot of coordinating between drivers and people waiting for their goods. Most of the time, the desk is covered in maps and delivery schedules. We don’t have a big warehouse attached to this office, so it’s mainly just the administrative side of things. It can get pretty cramped when a few drivers come in at the same time to settle their paperwork. The building itself is older, and the stairs are a bit steep, but it’s a good central location for what we do. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive chairs. We just need a phone that works and a decent internet connection to track the loads. It’s a busy life, and there’s always a bit of stress when a shipment is running late, but we just deal with it and try to keep things moving as best as we can.
