Unity Gauge & Tool Company Pvt. Ltd. is located at S.No.109 in the MIDC area of Bhosari. If you know this part of the world, you know it’s all about industry and factories. The roads are wide to accommodate the big trucks, but they still get blocked up during the morning and evening shift changes. Our building is a simple structure on a decent-sized plot of land. We have a small yard in the front where we park the scooters and the occasional car. Inside, the main area is mostly taken up by the equipment and tools we use for our daily work. There is a small corner partitioned off for the office work, where we keep the computer and the various files. It gets quite noisy during the day because of the work being done, so we often have to shout a bit to be heard over the machines. The air always smells a bit like oil and metal, which you get used to. Bhosari is a hardworking place. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and have seen other businesses come and go around us. Our walls are painted a dull blue, and the floor is stained from years of use. It’s not a place you’d come for a tour, but it works for us. We have a small sink for washing up and a place to sit for lunch. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad.
