Umakant Clinic

This clinic is tucked away on D.P Road in Narayan Peth. If you're from around here, you know the area can get quite packed with people and traffic throughout the day. We’ve been at number 135 for a while now. It’s a small, local clinic where the pace is usually quite steady without being overwhelming. We don’t have a massive team or a huge building with dozens of floors. It’s just a few rooms where we see whoever walks in with a fever, a cough, or some other ailment. Most of our regulars are families who have lived in the Peth area for generations. We know who is related to who, which makes things feel a bit more like a community spot than a cold, sterile medical office. The furniture is a bit older, and we don’t have those fancy digital screens you see in big modern hospitals. We still do a lot of things the old-fashioned way because it works for us and for the people who come to see us. Sometimes we run behind schedule because a patient needs more time to talk, but that’s just how it goes here. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a place to get checked out and get some medicine or a bit of practical advice. It’s simple, honest work in the heart of the city. We open the doors every morning and see who needs us most that day. It's home to us.
