New Mobile Clinic Sales & Service

Dhanakawadi is where we set up New Mobile Clinic Sales & Service. The name sounds a bit official but we are just a normal shop fixing phones. A lot of cracked glass comes through our door. It seems like everyone is dropping their phones these days. We have a workbench in the back with a big magnifying lamp and soldering irons. That is where most of the real work happens. The front of the shop has some glass counters with new phones and some used ones we’ve fixed up. People come in from all over Dhanakawadi. Some are students from the nearby colleges and others are older folks who can't figure out their settings. Explaining things simply without using too much jargon is how we help them. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fan running full speed. The walls are covered with posters of mobile plans and phone brands. Keeping a ledger to track all the repairs is our way of staying organized. It is an old-fashioned way of doing things but it works for us. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought because the parts are hard to find. We just call the customer and let them know the situation. It is a straightforward business. We show up, open the doors, and start working on whatever is on the desk. There is always a pile of phones waiting for attention and we just go through them one by one.
