Tulsi Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is a bit hidden away compared to others. We are at 291/92 Hari Krupa Apartment, over in B Wing on the 4th floor. Being in Ganj Peth means we are right in the heart of Pune 411002. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes in these older buildings. Tulsi Beauty Parlour is a small space but it is ours. From the 4th floor window, you can look out and see the roofs of the other buildings in Ganj Peth. It is definitely quieter up here than it is down on the street level. We have our setup near the window to get the best natural light for doing eyebrows and facials. The walls are simple, and we have a few pictures of different hairstyles pinned up for ideas. We do not have a lot of fancy equipment, just the things that work for us. Most of our clients are people who live in Hari Krupa or the buildings right next to us. They come up for a quick trim or to get ready for a local wedding. We usually have a pot of tea going in the corner. It feels more like a home than a business most days. We keep track of our appointments in a little diary with a pen that is tied to the desk. When the sun goes down, we pack up our scissors and lock the B wing door.
