Tulips Collection

Tulips Collection is located at shop number 5 in Atharva Faryaz Plaza. We are over in the Kuber Nagar part of Dhanakawadi. It’s a fairly quiet plaza most of the time compared to the main roads. We have been running this place for a few years now. It started out small and we haven't changed much since then. We mostly deal with various collections of items that people in the neighborhood might need. The shop is tucked away a bit, so you have to look for the sign. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and hanging things up. My sister helps me out on the weekends when it gets a bit more crowded. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright flashing lights. It’s just a plain room with shelves and racks. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon and we just sit by the door for some light. Dhanakawadi is a nice area and the people around here are friendly. We know the shopkeepers next door quite well. We usually eat our lunch in the back room while listening to the radio. It's not a big corporate operation. We just buy what we think will sell and hope for the best. Sometimes we get the inventory wrong and things sit on the shelf for a long time. That’s just how it goes in a small business like this. We just keep going day by day and try to keep things organized for whoever walks in.
