Silky World

People usually find us here at No. 2170 New Modhi Khana near Poolgate Camp. It’s been a while since we set things up in this part of town. We mostly deal with different fabrics and clothes, which keeps us pretty busy through the week. The shop isn't huge, but it gets the job done and we know most of the people around here by name. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the sun is out, but that is just how it is in Camp. We spend a lot of time sorting through materials and making sure everything is where it should be on the shelves. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. Just a regular shop where we do our work and try to help people find what they need for their tailoring or outfits. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, yet we are still right here in the same spot. If you are walking down towards the poolgate area, you will probably see our sign. There is always something to do, whether it’s checking the new stock or just tidying up the front. It’s a simple living for us and we like the routine of opening up every morning and seeing who stops by. We don’t really do much advertising or anything because word of mouth usually works fine enough for a place like Silky World. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come along.
