Our place is located in Anand Colony, right behind the Warje Post Office. We share the space, or rather we’re situated C/O Deshpande Gopal Vasudev. It’s a residential-style setup which makes the whole workday feel a bit more relaxed than being in a big glass tower. The post office is the best way to explain to people where we are because everyone knows it. Being in Warje is nice because it’s a bit away from the main crush of Pune’s center. We’ve got our office rooms filled with the usual stuff like computers, printers, and stacks of project documentation. Since we’re Transtech Projects, we’re always balancing several different things at once. The atmosphere is pretty casual; we don’t wear suits or anything. You might find some of the staff sitting outside during their break just to get some fresh air. The street is usually busy with people going to the post office or just walking through the colony. Inside, we try to keep things organized, but it’s a working office, so there’s always a bit of a mess of papers. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s the kind of spot where you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We just focus on getting the project tasks done and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. It’s a simple operation, really, run by people who know the area well.
