Our office is in Flat No 11 of Komal Society, which is over in Taware Colony. It’s a bit unusual to have an engineering and trading business in a residential society like this, but it works for us. We are located on Plot No 8 & 9 near Mother Dairy Road. The area is relatively quiet compared to the main Parvati Nehru Nagar roads. Most of our work involves sitting at the desks, handling orders for various engineering parts and chatting with suppliers. Since we are near the Mother Dairy, we often see the delivery trucks moving around early in the morning. The flat is filled with files, technical catalogs, and some samples of the stuff we trade. We aren't a retail shop where people just walk in off the street, so it’s mostly scheduled meetings or phone calls. The Survey No 47 area is a nice spot in Pune to be based in. We have a small balcony where we take breaks and look out at the colony. Sometimes it gets a bit tight with all the boxes of inventory we keep around. We’ve been operating from this society for a while, and the neighbors know us. It’s a straightforward operation. We manage the logistics of getting parts from one place to another and making sure the specs are right. It’s quiet work, mostly involving technical details and trading schedules throughout the week.
