This branch of Mahindra Engineering Chemical Products Ltd is tucked away in Chinchwad. To be exact, we are at Nikhil Sr No 124 in the Shivaji Park area of Aher Nagar. It is a very industrial part of Pune 33, so you hear a lot of noise from the surrounding factories and shops. Our work with chemicals means we have to be pretty careful and follow the routines every single day. The office and the workspace are functional, meant for getting the job done rather than looking pretty for visitors. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we know the Aher Nagar streets like the back of our hands. It gets quite hot in the summer months, and the shed can get a bit stuffy, but that is just part of the job. We have been at this Shivaji Park location for quite some time now. People sometimes get lost looking for Nikhil, but once they see the sign, they know they are in the right place. We handle a lot of different chemical products and the engineering side that goes with them. It is not always clean work, but it is necessary. We do not have many meetings that aren't about the actual work on the floor. It is just a regular group of workers trying to keep the production going without any fuss. Chinchwad is a busy hub, and we are right in the middle of it.
