Tongaonkar Hospital

This part of the hospital is actually located in A/3 Dinkesh Appts. It’s a bit different from our other locations because it feels much more like a regular home than a big, scary medical building. We have been here for a long time, and the people living in the other apartments are used to seeing patients coming in and out of the main gate. It is usually pretty quiet around here, which is nice compared to the noise of the main road. The room we use for the reception is a bit small, and sometimes it gets a little crowded if three or four people arrive at the exact same time. We have a few old fans that keep the air moving, though they can be a bit noisy when they are turned on the highest setting. Most of the time, I am just sitting at the front desk handling the paperwork or talking to the neighbors who stop by to say hello while they are out for a walk. The walk up to the apartment is easy enough, and we try our best to keep the hallway clear of any clutter. It’s a very local feel here, and we know many of the patients by their first names because they’ve been coming to see us for years. We don't have any of those big digital screens or fancy coffee machines. It’s just a simple setup with a few chairs and some old books for people to read.
