Tomato Architectural Solutions Pvt Ltd is situated in Deccan Gymkhana, right near Jubilee Baug. It’s a pretty central location, which makes it easy for folks to find us, though parking is always a bit of a headache around here. We get asked about the name Tomato quite a lot, but it’s just what we went with and it stuck. Our office is usually a bit of a mess with blueprints and material boards scattered around. We handle a lot of different projects, some small flats and some bigger buildings, but it all comes down to the same basic work of drawing and planning. The team here is small, and we’ve known each other for a long time, so things are pretty casual. We don't have a big reception area or anyone in a suit waiting at the door. You’ll usually find us in the back rooms working through the afternoon heat. Deccan Gymkhana is a lively place, so there’s always something going on outside, but we stay focused on the tasks at hand. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors or out on sites making sure things are being built the way we wrote them down. It’s a lot of back-and-forth, but that’s just how this business goes. We like being in this part of the city because everything is close by, and it feels like the heart of things. It’s just a normal workplace where we try to get things done.
