Timber Sales Corporation

Timber Sales Corporation is over at Plot No. 240 in the New Timber Market area of Bhawani Peth. We’re directly opposite the Bhawani Peth Post Office, and the Ramoshi Gate is just nearby too. It’s a prime spot for timber because the whole market is dedicated to it. You can smell the wood as soon as you turn into the lane. Our plot is quite large because we need the space for all the wood we keep in stock. We spend a lot of time outside moving logs and planks around. It’s heavy, dirty work, but it keeps us fit. Being near the Ramoshi Gate means we get a lot of people passing by our gate. The post office across the street is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. We’ve got a small shed where we keep the paperwork, but most of the action happens out in the yard. The weather affects us quite a bit; if it’s raining, we have to cover everything up quickly with tarps. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means. It’s just a working timber yard. We talk to carpenters, builders, and sometimes just regular people who need a few pieces for a home project. We don’t do much advertising; people just know we’re here at Plot 240. It’s a straightforward life, working with our hands and making sure the timber goes out to where it is needed.
