Key Welding Enterprises

Key Welding Enterprises is right near the big water tank in Balaji Nagar. It’s just off the Pune-Nashik Road in Chakan, so there is always a lot of traffic passing by. The noise from the heavy trucks is something you just get used to after a while. Inside our shop, it’s mostly the sound of grinders and the bright flashes from the welding torches. We have a few workbenches that are pretty beat up from years of use, but they still do the job just fine. Most days, the floor is covered in metal filings and sparks fly whenever we’re busy on a project. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know our way around a welding machine. We take on whatever comes through the door, whether it’s a small repair or something a bit bigger for one of the factories nearby. The heat from the torches can make the shop feel pretty stuffy, so we usually keep the big front door wide open to catch whatever breeze comes off the road. Sometimes customers just drop by and wait while we fix a broken gate or a piece of machinery. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of plastic stools near the entrance. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’ve been at this spot for years now. We like the work and the people who stop by for help.
