Tiger Cubs Pre School

We are located at Plot No. 91 and 92 in Kaspate Vasti, which is part of the Wakad area. It is right near Park Street, so it is quite easy to find if you are familiar with this side of town. When we first moved into Survey No. 228, there wasn't as much construction around as there is now. Now, it's a busy neighborhood with lots of new families moving in. Our school sits on two plots, so we have a bit more breathing room than some of the other places nearby. We built it to be practical. The rooms are bright and we have enough space for the kids to move their chairs around. I spend most of my day just making sure everything is running okay. If a bulb goes out or a tap leaks, we fix it ourselves. It's not a corporate setup at all. We are just local people who wanted to run a school in Wakad. The teachers are mostly women from the surrounding apartments. We talk about the kids over tea in the break room. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of atmosphere. The traffic near Park Street can be a headache in the evenings, but during the school hours, it's not too bad. We just focus on the kids and making sure they are fed and happy before they go home to their parents. We have some small trees planted by the fence that are finally starting to provide some shade for the yard.
