We’re located in the Lotus Building, which is part of the Park Springs Society over on Porwal Road in Pune. Our office is Flat No. 601, so we’re up on the sixth floor. Being in a society like this means it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office building. We’ve got a view of the surrounding area from the windows, which is nice when the weather is good. Porwal Road has been getting a lot busier lately, so the commute can take a bit longer than it used to. Inside, it’s a pretty standard setup with our computers and some chairs. We’re consultants, so a lot of our time is spent talking through things and writing up reports. It’s not a high-pressure environment in terms of the office vibe; we try to keep things relaxed. We’ve got the usual 411047 zip code here. Sometimes we have to head out to meet people, but mostly we are right here at our desks. The building is well-maintained, though the elevators can be a bit slow during the peak times when everyone is moving around in the morning. It’s a quiet enough place to actually get some thinking done without being bothered. We don’t have any big posters or corporate mission statements on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to work every morning and do our best to stay on top of our tasks. It feels right for us.
