Thermo Tecknics

We've been at the Shankar Industrial Estate for a while now. It's a busy spot over on Yamuna Mill Road. Usually, mornings start with getting the shutters up at A 2/5. The flatted building has a lot going on all day. It’s not the quietest place, but it works for what we do here at Thermo Tecknics. Most of us have been around this part of Pimpri for years. You get used to the sounds of the other units. There’s a tea stall just down the road where everyone gathers. We spend a lot of time checking things over and making sure everything is moving along. It’s hard work sometimes, especially when it gets hot in the afternoons. The space in F2 is just enough for the gear we have. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs. It’s just how things are. We aren't trying to be anything fancy. It's just a regular workplace with people who know their jobs. We see the same faces every day. It's nice having that kind of community in an industrial area. There is always someone dropping off something or picking something up. The paperwork piles up on the desks, but we get through it. Sometimes we stay late when there's a lot to do, but mostly we head home once the sun goes down. It's just a steady life here in the workshop, doing what we know best day after day.
