Themes Furnishing & Linens is tucked away at Door No-141 on Mahatma Gandhi Road. Most people know the area because it’s near the Pool Gate in Camp. It's a crowded part of town, so parking is always a headache if you come at the wrong time. Inside the shop, it’s mostly piles of fabric and rolls of curtains. We don’t have those fancy displays you see in the big malls. It’s more about digging through the stacks to find a linen that feels right. The light in here isn't always the best, so we often take pieces out to the doorway to see the real color in the sun. We’ve got towels, bedsheets, and all sorts of cloth stuff crammed into the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when three or four customers are inside at once. We spend our mornings dusting the fabric because the road outside stays busy and kicks up a lot of grit. People come in looking for something to cover their old sofa or new pillows for the bedroom. We just show them what we have on the racks. There's no pressure or big sales pitch here. We just know where everything is kept. If you’re passing by the Pool Gate, you’ll see our sign. It’s a simple shop for people who just want decent cloth for their homes without making a big fuss about it.
