We are located over in Vishrantwadi at the Appaji Complex. It’s a handy location for the folks living nearby who need to pick up things for their homes without traveling too far. The shop isn't massive, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make everything fit in. You’ll find all sorts of daily items here, from plastic buckets to small kitchen tools and cleaning supplies. It’s the kind of place where you come in for one thing and end up seeing something else you forgot you needed. The Appaji Complex stays pretty busy throughout the day, so there’s always a bit of a crowd around the entrance. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure we don't run out of the basics. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have boxes sitting in the aisle for a few hours. It’s just how it is in a small shop. We know the people who live in the surrounding buildings, and they stop by to chat for a few minutes while they shop. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright flashing lights. It’s just a regular store with plain shelves and a counter at the front for the register. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise when it's on high, but it keeps us cool enough. We open up early and stay until the dinner rush is over. It’s a simple business, just keeping neighbors stocked.
