The Nice Clinic

We are up on the first floor here in Liberty Society. It’s a flat, C4 specifically, in the Phase-2 section. Koregaon Park is a busy area but our little spot is usually quiet enough. We're right across from Lane 5. The stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step when you're coming up. We’ve been here for a good while. The rooms are basic. We have some chairs in the hallway for people to sit while they wait. It’s not one of those big hospitals. It’s just a small clinic. We handle things ourselves mostly. Sometimes the traffic outside gets loud, but if we keep the windows shut, it’s fine. The light in the afternoons is quite bright in the main room. We don't have any fancy decorations, just a few calendars on the wall. Folks from the neighborhood usually just walk over. We know a lot of the people who live in the society too. It’s a convenient place for us to work. We have a small desk for the files and a telephone that rings a lot. It’s a simple setup but it works for what we need. We aren't trying to be anything big. Just a local place where people can come in. The kettle is usually on in the back if anyone needs a cup of water. We try to keep the place tidy, but with papers everywhere, it's a bit of a struggle sometimes.
