Tembe Hospital

Our place is located at 1321/2 Shivaji Nagar, right on Jangli Maharaj Road. If you know where the Modern High School is, we are just opposite that. The Bhosale Subway is also right nearby, which makes it easy to find but the traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. Tembe Hospital has been a fixture in this part of Shivaji Nagar for a long time. The building has several floors, and we are constantly moving up and down the stairs. It’s a busy environment. We get students from the school coming in occasionally, and commuters from the subway. The lobby is often crowded, especially when families come to visit. We have a lot of regular staff who have worked here for years. We know the lady who sells fruit outside and the guy at the corner store. The rooms are basic and functional. We don't have those fancy art pieces on the walls you see in big city hospitals. It’s more about the medical equipment and making sure there are enough clean sheets for everyone. The nurses are always on their feet, and the doctors are usually rushing between consultations. It gets loud with the sounds of the city coming in through the windows, but you get used to it after a while. We just focus on getting through the patient list and making sure everyone gets seen. It’s hard work, but it’s our daily life here on JM Road. We just keep going until the shift ends.
