Our place is at 171 Dhayari, right across from the Ganesh Mangal Karyalay. If you know that wedding hall, you know exactly where we are. During the wedding season, it gets very loud and crowded with people and music, which makes for an interesting background while we are working on engineering projects. We’ve been in Dhayari for a long time. The workshop is a straightforward space where we handle different types of engineering jobs. We have some heavy machinery and the usual tools you’d expect. The floor is concrete and often has bits of metal or oil on it because that’s the nature of what we do. It’s a private limited company on paper, but in reality, it’s just a group of us who know how to weld, cut, and assemble things. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in our work clothes, busy with a machine or talking about a drawing. The area around Dhayari has grown a lot lately, but our spot across from the Karyalay remains pretty much the same. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about the work or what’s happening in the neighborhood. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just engineers doing our bit in a dusty workshop in Dhayari.
