Swati Enterprises is located at Plot 30 in the Steel Market of Kalamboli. If you’ve ever been to the market in Navi Mumbai, you know it’s a place of heavy metal, big trucks, and constant noise. Our spot is right in the thick of it. We deal with steel and industrial supplies, so the ground is usually covered in iron dust and there’s always the sound of cranes or loaders in the background. It’s a gritty environment, but it’s where we belong. Our office is just a small room at the front of the plot where we keep the ledger and take orders. Most of the time, we’re out on the plot checking the stock or talking to the drivers. It’s a tough business, and the work is physically demanding. We don’t have much in the way of air conditioning or fancy furniture. We have some old chairs and a desk that’s seen better days. We’ve been in the Steel Market for quite a while now and we know the other traders on the block. It’s a community built on hard work and honest deals. We don’t bother with marketing or anything like that. People know where we are and what we have on the plot. We just show up every morning, handle the loads, and make sure the paperwork matches the steel leaving the gate. It's not fancy, but it is real work that keeps the city building and moving.
