Sunray Plastic is tucked away near Camp Majura Gate, right at number 907. If you walk inside, the first thing you notice is the stacks of plastic buckets, bins, and chairs piled up almost to the ceiling. It is a bit of a maze in here. We spend a lot of time moving things around to find exactly what someone is looking for. The area around Majura Gate is always humming with people going to work or heading to the markets. Our shop is just a practical place for anyone needing household items that last. We don't have any air conditioning, so we keep the doors wide open to catch whatever breeze comes through. Usually, someone is out front checking the inventory or talking to a delivery driver. We’ve got everything from small storage boxes to large water drums. It is a bit dusty because of the road right outside, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. We don't use a computer for everything; most things are written down in a big ledger book we keep on the main desk. It feels like a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. Most of the people who come in are regulars from the nearby residential blocks. We just talk about the weather or the local news while they pick out a new laundry basket. It is a simple life here at the shop, keeping things organized and moving.
