Subtronics is tucked away at 1163 in the Camp area, specifically on 2nd Khetwadi Lane. If you know the lane, you know it can be a bit narrow and crowded with bikes and people walking. We have been here for a while and the shop feels like it has a lot of history. There are shelves filled with electronics parts that have probably been there for years. We do a lot of small-scale electronic work. It’s the kind of place where you have to move a stack of papers just to find a place to sit down. The lighting isn't the best, but we have some good lamps on the workbenches where the real work happens. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so we usually have a small fan blowing right on us. People in the neighborhood stop by for all sorts of odd jobs, maybe a broken radio or something they want us to take a look at. We don't promise anything we can't do. We just take a look and see if it can be fixed. Most days involve a lot of soldering and checking circuits with a multimeter. It’s quiet work for the most part, except for the noise from the lane outside. We like it this way. It is a small shop in a busy part of town, and we just keep doing what we know how to do without making a big fuss about it.
