Ideal Instruments

Our place is in Bibwewadi at A/6. If you know where the Upper Bus Depo is, we are right near there. It’s also opposite VIT Hospital. We deal with various instruments and technical equipment. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of stock sitting on shelves. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, except for the buses. We spend a lot of time checking the gear and making sure everything works like it should. It’s a lot of technical work that requires some focus. We don’t have a big staff, just a few of us who know the equipment well. Sometimes people come in looking for a specific part and we have to dig through the back to find it. The shop has been here for a while. We aren't really into big marketing things. We just open up in the morning and see what needs doing. Most of our customers are locals or people from the nearby hospitals and colleges. It’s a decent spot to work from. We keep a pot of tea going most afternoons. There is always some manual to read or a piece of equipment to look at. It’s just a regular small business. We try to stay organized but it’s hard with so many small parts. We just take things one day at a time and handle the repairs and sales as they come through the door.
