We are situated in Somwar Peth, right near the Daruwala Bridge area. It’s an old part of the city with a lot of history. The shop is small and tucked away, but we’ve got our loyal regulars who know the way. Most of the people who come here live in the nearby buildings or work in the local markets. We do basic hair cutting and styling. It’s just me and one other guy working the two chairs we have. We don’t have a big staff or any fancy uniforms. The morning time is usually quiet, but after 5 PM, things pick up when people are coming home from their jobs. We have a small wooden bench outside for people to sit and wait if the chairs inside are full. The interior is simple, just some posters of different hair styles on the wall, though most people just ask for the same cut every time anyway. We try to keep the place tidy but hair gets everywhere no matter how much we sweep. It’s a humble setup. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening and old ones closing, but our shop stays mostly the same. We use the basic stuff you'd expect from a local barber. No fancy appointments needed, you just walk in and wait your turn. Sometimes the bridge traffic makes it very noisy outside with all the horns, but inside we just focus on the job. It's a steady, quiet life running this little place. We usually close on Mondays like most shops here.
