Strag Designers

You can find us over at W 40 in the Bhosari Industrial Estate. It’s a big, spread-out area with a lot of different factories and shops nearby. Strag Designers has been in this particular unit for a while now. The space is filled with long tables and a lot of different materials scattered around. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to if you wanted to see something shiny and new. The floors are concrete and there’s always the sound of a machine humming in the background from the neighbor’s place. We spend a lot of time hunched over drawings and looking at samples. The lighting isn't great, but we have a few extra lamps to help us see what we’re doing. It’s usually pretty busy, with people coming in to drop off stuff or pick things up. Bhosari can be a tough place to navigate if you don’t know your way around, and the dust from the industrial work nearby is just part of the daily life here. We usually have the radio playing some old songs to keep things from getting too quiet. There’s always a half-empty box of tea biscuits sitting on the table near the door. It’s a practical workspace where we just focus on getting the designs right. We don’t worry too much about the decor or making things look perfect for visitors. It’s just where we work every day.
