Star Packers & Movers

Our shop, Star Packers & Movers, is located at No. 18 on the 5th Cross in Ashok Nagar. We’re right near the Market Yard, so there’s always a lot of activity with trucks and people selling things nearby. Being near the Market Yard means it's always noisy, but it's a good place for a moving business. We mostly handle local shifts, people moving from one apartment to another. It’s hard work, especially during the monsoon when we have to worry about everything getting wet. We use a lot of plastic sheets to cover the furniture. The office on 5th Cross is where we keep our supplies like ropes and blankets. Ashok Nagar is a nice neighborhood, though the roads are a bit tight for the bigger trucks. We have to be careful not to block the neighbors' driveways when we are loading up. Sometimes we have to carry fridges up four flights of stairs because the lift is too small or just broken. It’s a lot of sweating and heavy lifting, but it’s what we do. We don’t have a fancy website or anything, just this small place near the yard. Usually, we just sit outside on the stools when it's quiet and wait for the next call. We've lived and worked around here for years, so we know all the shortcuts to avoid the worst traffic during the rush hour.
