Star Hospital

We are located right on the Mumbai- Pune Highway Road. It’s a busy spot. If you’re looking for us, we are just opposite Force Motors Ltd. You can’t miss it. The traffic out there is always loud, especially in the mornings when the big trucks are moving. Inside Star Hospital, things are a bit quieter, but there is still plenty of movement. We have nurses walking back and forth and patients waiting in the plastic chairs near the entrance. The floor is that old white tile that we have to mop constantly because of the dust from the highway. Sometimes the front door sticks a little when it’s humid outside. Most of the people who come here live nearby or got stuck on the road. We don’t have any fancy art on the walls or anything like that. Just some old posters and a clock that’s about two minutes fast. It’s a practical place. We keep some tea in the back for the staff. The parking area in front gets crowded by noon, so people usually end up squeezing their bikes together. My desk is right near the window, so I watch the rain hit the pavement when the monsoon starts. It’s just how things go here every day. We open up early and stay late until the last person is seen. It’s a lot of work, but it’s what we do. The building isn't brand new, but it works for what we need.
