Sri Ambika Enterprises

This place is located in Warje Khetwadi, specifically in the Popular Nagar area at Sr No-117. It’s part of a larger complex of buildings, and we are in unit D-5-6. We deal with various goods and supplies that come in large boxes. The space is mostly a warehouse with some room for a small desk and a couple of chairs. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading crates from the back of small trucks. The floor is made of rough stone, and it gets quite dusty because of all the cardboard. We have a big rolling shutter that stays open most of the day to let in the air. There isn't much decoration on the walls, just a few old notices and a map of the local area. When the rain comes down hard, it makes a huge noise on the metal roof, and we have to shout to hear each other. We keep a stock of the things people in the area need most often. It’s a lot of manual labor, moving things from one corner to the other to make room for new arrivals. We usually have a bit of a rush in the mornings when the deliveries go out to different parts of the city. The rest of the day is spent checking the lists and making sure nothing is damaged. It is a basic operation run by a few of us who have been doing this for a long time.
