Our office is at Plot Number 3, very close to the Pooja Mess in Pune. Most people who live around here know exactly where that is. S.N. Joshi Consultants is located in an older building that has a lot of character, even if it is a bit worn down. Inside, the space is filled with desks and cupboards that are stuffed with files. We’ve been here for a long time, and it shows. The floor is a bit uneven in places and the paint is peeling in the corners. But it is a comfortable place for us to work. We handle all kinds of consulting projects. It is a small team and we all sit fairly close together. There are no separate cabins or private offices. We just share the space and talk across the room when we need something. The neighborhood is always active. You can hear the sounds of the street and the people visiting the mess next door. We don't have a professional cleaning crew that comes in every night. We mostly just tidy up our own desks. It is a very informal and honest way of working. We aren't trying to pretend to be a big multinational. We’re just a local business doing our thing. The water cooler in the corner is usually where we gather for a quick chat. It is a simple, hardworking office that serves its purpose well.
