Sky Clean Dry Cleaners

Sky Clean is located in Gala A-79 at Pavana Industrial Premises in the M.I.D.C. area of Bhusari. It is an industrial spot, so it is not exactly a pretty neighborhood. Our shop is full of the smell of detergent and the constant hiss of steam from the irons. We spend most of our time sorting through piles of clothes and making sure the machines are running right. Dry cleaning is a lot of repetitive work. You check the tags, treat the spots, and then put them through the cycle. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an afternoon fixing a pump or a belt. It gets hot and humid inside, especially when we have all the presses going at once. We do not have a fancy front desk with a computer system. We use paper slips and hang the finished clothes on the racks. It is a small operation, just a few of us working here. We know the regulars who come by to drop off their suits or curtains. It is honest work, even if it is tiring on the feet. We stay busy with the local families and some of the small offices nearby. The floor is always a bit wet and there are lint rolls everywhere. We just keep our heads down and try to get the laundry finished on time for everyone who needs it.
