Chandra Tara Industries

Chandra Tara Industries is located in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate, at 20/1. If you have ever been to Hadapsar, you know it is full of sheds and workshops. Our place is one of them. We do industrial work here, which means it’s loud and there is always some kind of machine running. The floor is concrete and usually has some marks on it from moving heavy gear around. We aren't making anything delicate here. It’s more about production and getting orders out on time. The sun beats down on the metal roof in the summer, making it pretty warm inside, but we have some fans going. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a bit. We don't really have a front office for visitors, just the main floor where the work happens. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the machines are behaving. It is a different kind of life compared to working in a shop in the city. Here, it is all about the noise of the industrial estate and the smell of cut metal or grease. We’ve been at 20/1 for many years. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is necessary. That is basically what Chandra Tara Industries is about.
