Enpro Industries is located out at 215/218 Markal. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like having the extra space out here. The facility is quite large and we use it for all our production and storage. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the sound of the machines and the smell of the workshop. It’s an industrial environment, so there is always some dirt on the floor and grease on the tools. We have a crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know how to run the equipment and they just get on with their tasks. We don't spend much time on fancy office work. Most of the action happens on the floor. We try to keep things moving so the orders get out on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it, which is just part of the job. Markal has grown a lot since we first set up here, with more buildings popping up all the time. We have a small corner for our paperwork and a table where we eat our lunch together. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a script. You just get us. We work hard, keep the machines running, and try to do a good job every day.
