The shop is down S H Lane in the Erandwane area. It is a relatively quiet lane compared to some of the bigger roads nearby, which I quite like. We have been here for a bit, and the space has become very familiar to us. We do a bit of everything when it comes to the daily needs of the neighborhood. The front door sticks a little bit when it rains, so you have to give it a good push to get inside. Once you are in, you will see shelves that are probably a bit too full, but we like to have everything on hand just in case. I usually spend the morning hours setting things out and making sure the place is ready for whoever might walk in. Erandwane is a nice place to work, and the people around here are mostly regulars who we see every other day. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in a ledger on the main counter. It is a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us and we haven't seen a reason to change it yet. Sometimes the neighborhood kids stop by on their way home from school, and the shop feels very much like a part of the local life. We keep things simple and honest here. There are no big displays or bright flashing lights, just a regular shop on a regular lane where we take care of the people who stop by.
