Sinhgad College of Engineering sits over in Sector No-44/1, just off the road in Vadgaon Budruk. It’s a massive place, and if you’ve ever been near Sinhgad Road, you know how packed it gets. The college has been around for a good while. You see thousands of students coming through every morning, mostly looking tired or rushing to get to a lecture on time. Our building is one of many on the hill. The wind can be quite strong up here sometimes. We have many departments and labs spread out across the floors. The elevators are always busy, so most people just take the stairs. It’s a lot of walking. The canteen is usually the heart of the place where everyone gathers. We deal with a lot of paperwork, exams, and student queries every single day. It can get a bit chaotic during admissions or when results are coming out. The staff rooms are full of books and old folders. It’s not a quiet place, there is always some event or a project going on. We just try to keep things organized. It’s a big machine with many moving parts. You get used to the noise and the constant movement of people in the corridors. We have been here for years seeing different batches come and go. It’s just how the academic cycle works in a place like this.
