Siddharth Hospital

If you go down toward the Market Yard in Gultekdi, you will find us at E-10/11. Siddharth Hospital has been in this spot for a while now. The market nearby is always packed with trucks bringing in vegetables and grain, so the air usually smells like onions or dry sacks. It is a very active part of town to work in. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just concrete and glass like most of the others on this street. Inside, the floors are white and we try to keep them shining, though it is hard with all the mud people track in during the monsoon season. We have a few rooms for patients and a small area where families can sit while they wait. It gets quite loud during the day because of the constant honking outside on the main road. I usually bring my own tiffin and sit by the window for ten minutes when I can find the time. The staff here is mostly local people who live within walking distance. We know all the shortcuts to avoid the traffic when we head home. We do not have any fancy signs or big flashing lights outside. People in Gultekdi just know where we are. Dealing with health stuff is never easy, but we just take it one person at a time and do what is needed. The clock on the wall ticks a bit too loud at night.
