Shyam Roadlines

We started Shyam Roadlines a while back right here in Chimbli. It's mostly trucks and moving stuff from one place to another. You know how it is in this part of town, there's always a lot of traffic and things need to get delivered on time. My brother and I handle most of the calls ourselves. We have a few drivers who know these roads really well. It isn't a fancy office or anything, just a small room with a desk and some parking space for the vehicles out back. Usually, we are out on the road or checking the tires. Chimbli is growing fast so there's a lot of construction work around these days. We try to keep the trucks in good shape because breakdowns are a real headache for everyone involved. If someone needs something moved, they just call and we see if a truck is free. Sometimes it's very busy, sometimes it's quiet. We've been here for several years now and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. It's hard work, waking up early and dealing with the highway heat, but it keeps us going. We don't have a big website or any marketing, just our name painted on the side of the door. The weather gets really hot in the summer which makes the long drives tough for the boys. We just take it day by day and try to get the loads where they need to go without too much trouble. It's a simple life for us.
