Shri Kailash Dairy

Shri Kailash Dairy has been part of the Shukrawar Peth area for a long time. We are located at Vadgaon Dhaeiry, number 381. Every morning is the same routine, waiting for the milk to arrive and getting everything set up before the neighborhood wakes up. It’s a very local kind of place. Most of the people who come to us live just a few streets away and they bring their own steel containers to fill up. We don't have any fancy packaging or big trucks with our name on them. It’s just a straightforward dairy shop where we focus on the basic stuff like milk and curd. The floor is usually wet because we are constantly washing things down to keep it clean. Shukrawar Peth is a busy place with lots of small businesses, so there is always a bit of noise from the street coming in. We don't really have a boss in a suit telling us what to do, we just know what needs to happen every day. Sometimes the milk runs out earlier than expected and we have to tell people to come back tomorrow, which is just how it goes. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy from dawn until the evening. We just try to do our bit and keep the regulars happy.
