Shree Transport

You’ll find Shree Transport tucked away in Narayan Peth, at number 423 on the 2nd Panjrapole Lane. If you know these lanes, you know they weren't exactly built for big trucks. It’s a bit of a squeeze every single time we have to move something. The office is just a small room in an old building. We’ve got some old calendars on the walls and a stack of ledgers that goes back years. It’s a very traditional neighborhood. We know almost everyone on the lane, and we often have to ask the neighbors to move their scooters so we can get through. It’s a lot of manual coordination. We don't have a website or anything fancy; people just know we're here at the 423 address. Working in Narayan Peth means you’re part of a tight community. Sometimes we share a meal with the guys from the shop next door. The work itself is mostly about managing the local deliveries and making sure the paperwork is in order. It can get pretty hot in the office during the summer, so the ceiling fan never stops. We’re not trying to be the biggest company out there. We’re just doing our bit in the lane and keeping the business going like we always have. It’s a slow pace inside the office, but a fast one once the goods start moving out toward the main road.
