We are up on the 5th floor of the G Wing in K. K. Market, Unit No. 1025. It’s on the Pune-Satara Road in the Dhankawadi area. Being in a big market like K. K. Market means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about downstairs, but up here in our unit, it is a bit quieter. We handle trading and exports for various agricultural products. Most of our day is spent dealing with logistics and talking to transport companies. It is a lot of coordination to get goods from the farms to the export ports. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow during peak hours, so we have to plan our trips downstairs carefully. Our unit is packed with files and some samples of the grain and produce we deal with. It’s not a showroom, just a working office where we get the paperwork sorted. We have a good view of the road from up here, which is nice when you need a break from the screen. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there is always a call coming in or a truck that needs tracking. It is a lot of work but we have been doing it for a while now and we know how the market flows. We just try to stay on top of the shipping schedules.
