Shree Mahalaxmi Electricals

Shree Mahalaxmi Electricals is spread across two spots in the Soudamini Apts. We have Shop No. 3 on the ground level and Flat No. 203 on the second floor. It’s located in Shaniwar Peth, which is one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and always full of people. We spend a lot of our day running up and down the stairs between the shop and the flat. The shop is where we keep all the switches, wires, and bulbs that people need for their homes. It’s a small space, so it gets crowded very quickly when a few customers come in at once. We’ve been at 402 Shaniwar Peth for a long time, and we know most of the people living in the apartments above us. In the afternoons, when it gets a bit quieter, we go up to the flat to handle the accounts and the bigger orders. The building is an older one, but it has a lot of character. You can always hear the bells from the nearby temples and the sound of scooters zooming through the peth. We don't do anything very complicated; we just make sure we have the right electrical parts when someone’s lights go out or when a new house is being wired up. It is a busy, humble way to spend the day, and we are quite content with the routine we’ve built here.
