You can find us tucked away behind the Law College in the Malasavedi area. Shree Kamla Ayurved Hospital & Research Centre Private Limited has been in this spot for a while now. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it much quieter for the people staying with us. We focus on Ayurvedic stuff, so there’s often a strong smell of herbs and oils in the air. Some people find it soothing, while others take a bit of time to get used to it. We have some rooms for research too, though it’s mostly just us looking at old texts and trying to figure out better ways to use natural plants. The building is at 281/4, and it’s an older structure with thick walls that keep the heat out during the summer. We have a small garden where we grow a few things ourselves, though we buy most of the supplies from local markets. People come to us for all sorts of long-term aches and pains. It’s not like those big city hospitals where everything is glass and steel. Here, it’s more about taking your time and being patient. The floors are a bit worn down in places, but we keep them clean. We have a few staff members who have been here since the start. They know all the regular patients by name. It’s a small operation, really. We just try to provide a place where people can try different traditional methods without a lot of fuss.
