Shobhana Industrial Equipment

Bhosari is an industrial area, so it makes sense that we ended up here at Survey No 42/43. We handle all kinds of industrial equipment. It’s 164 Bhosari, a spot that gets pretty loud with all the trucks and manufacturing going on around us. Our space is mostly full of heavy metal parts and tools. It’s not a place for someone who doesn't like grease or the smell of iron. We’ve been supplying parts to local workshops and factories for years. There isn't much of a front office here. Most of the time we are in the back checking stock or talking to drivers. It’s a simple operation. My family started this, and we just kept it going. We don't really do much advertising. People just know we have what they need for their machines. Sometimes the power goes out in this part of town and we have to wait it out. It’s just part of the job. We keep a list of what’s in the warehouse, but it changes every day. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially when we get a big shipment in. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to keep the local shops running. It’s heavy lifting and lot of paperwork for every single nut and bolt that goes out the door.
