We are located right on Nigdi Station Road, specifically at 1409/32/B. It’s a busy spot with a lot of noise from the trains and the traffic, but that suits a transport business like Shiv Transport Corporation Of India just fine. We started out with just a couple of vehicles and a lot of hope. Now, we’ve got a bit more going on, but the way we work hasn't changed much. We still sit around the same old wooden table to figure out the schedules. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the boots coming in and out, and the phone rings more than I’d like sometimes. It’s not a corporate headquarters with glass walls. It’s a real place where work gets done. We move all sorts of stuff, and every day brings a different kind of headache, whether it’s a breakdown or a closed road. But we like the challenge of it. People in Nigdi know they can just drop by if they have a question. We don't use those automated phone systems because we'd rather just talk to you ourselves. Sometimes we’re a bit slow to answer the mail, but the trucks are always on time. That’s what really matters in this line of work. We’ve been part of this community for years, and we plan to stay right here on Station Road for a long time yet, just doing our thing.
