Shiv Shree Paint & Hardware

This shop is tucked away in Venkatesh Apartment on J M Road. If you live around Saswad or the Joshi Ali area, you’ve probably walked past us a dozen times. We sell paint and hardware stuff. It’s a small space, so things are stacked pretty high on every shelf we have. Sometimes it takes a good few minutes to find exactly what a customer is looking for in the back room or under a counter. My family has been doing this for a bit. It’s mostly local people coming in for a bucket of white paint or some specific screws for a home project. We have a lot of regular faces who stop by just to say hello even if they don't buy anything. It’s nice to know people by their first names. The shop can get a bit dusty with all the hardware and metal around, but we try to keep it tidy enough. There is always a faint smell of fresh paint and oil in the air. We don't have a big website or anything fancy like the big chains do. People just come in, ask what they need, and we help them find it. It's practical. We close up around the usual time in the evening. During the monsoon, things slow down a bit because nobody wants to paint their house when it's raining outside. But then it picks up again once the sun comes out and people want to fix things up. We like being part of the neighborhood. It’s a simple business. We don't try to be anything we aren't.
