King Hardware & Paints

King Hardware & Paints is our little shop at 27 Nanded Narayan Peth, in the Ramchandra Villa building. We’ve been here long enough that most of the neighbors know us by sight. The store is packed with paint cans, hardware, and all the little things you need to fix up a house. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things so nothing falls over. You’ll usually find us behind the counter or over by the paint mixer, which makes a lot of noise when it’s running. The floor is a bit worn from all the people coming in and out, but we think it gives the place some character. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us doing the daily work of ordering stock and helping folks pick out colors. Sometimes people stop in just to chat or ask for advice on a DIY project they are doing at home. We try to keep things simple and honest, without any of that fancy marketing talk. We know our inventory well, even if the shelves look a bit crowded at times. It’s a busy life, and there is always something that needs to be cleaned or reorganized. We like being part of the Peth area and serving the people who live around here. It’s just a regular hardware store where we do our best every day.
