Shiv Painting Works

We’ve been at Nand Gopal Industrial Estate for a while now. Shiv Painting Works is mostly just us getting out there every morning with brushes and rollers. If you walk down Garage Lane, you’ll probably see our spot near Senapati Bapat Marg. It’s usually busy. There are always paint cans stacked up and someone mixing colors or cleaning brushes. We handle a lot of different jobs around the area. Some days it’s big walls and other days it’s just small touch-ups. The air here in the estate is always full of noise from the other shops. We start early because the heat gets bad later in the day. Our clothes usually have spots of white or yellow paint on them by lunchtime. It isn’t fancy work, but it needs to be done right so the paint stays on. People know where to find us if they need something painted. We keep our supplies organized as much as we can, though things get messy when we have three jobs going at once. We’ve seen this part of Hadapsar change over the years. More traffic now. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the lane. We just keep our heads down and focus on the current wall. It’s what we do. No big secrets to it. Just good paint and enough time to let it dry before the next coat goes on. We stay busy.
